We provide specific prices once our beef has been processed. This is because we charge prices per pound based on the hanging weights of your cow. This allows us to charge accurate prices for the size of the beef, and still allow you to customize your cuts if desired.
Our prices break down as follows:
These prices are based on the hanging weight of your cow before they are cut and packaged. Your final cost/lbs will vary based on your cut preferences and the fact that no two cows are the same, and thus won’t cut the same.
In general, you can expect to get anywhere between 50%-65% of the hanging weight in final yield weight.
Our average Yield Weights are:
We recommend our standard cut sheet, which generally provides the highest percentage yields to our customers. This gets you the most bang for your buck. However, if you have certain beef cuts you prefer, we provide a customizable cut sheet for you to fill out.
**Customized cut sheets usually do not get as good of yield percentages as our standard cut sheet**
We charge prices for the hanging weight of the cows and not the final yield weight like you normally would pay at a grocery store. This allows us to offer our customers customization for their cuts. In general, our customers pay ~$9.00/lbs for our beef.
An average cut will yield 30% steaks, 30% roasts and the other misc. cuts, and 40% ground beef. You pay a flat rate for all the cuts of beef which reduces your overall costs substantially when compared to prices at the supermarket. This makes it a very affordable option for our customers, and lets them avoid those skyrocketing prices for grass-fed Angus beef at the supermarket!
Our purebred grass-fed Wagyu beef quarters are priced a little different. Because we keep more inventory Wagyu beef, we charge for the actual yield of the beef.
At $19.95/lbs our wagyu grass-fed, grass-finished beef is a deal! If the average take home weight per quarter is 100 lbs., the total cost-not including shipping (if necessary)-is $1995.00.
